ALK Gene Rearrangements Test by FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) uses fluorescently labeled probes to detect rearrangements of the ALK gene in a sample of tumor tissue. This test is used to determine if a patient's cancer is likely to respond to ALK-targeted therapies, such as crizotinib.
