Ever since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers all over the world are intrigued about the virus and its etiology. Various studies have been conducted all over the world to understand its origin, spread and its effects on the human body. Out of these studies, it is interesting to know what are the reasons for the severity of disease in some populations as compared to others. Also, it is interesting to note why certain people are afflicted by the disease and what causes some people to remain immune.  One of the subjects for research that interests the experts is the association between blood groups, ie., ABO blood group along with RH +ve and -ve factors and vulnerability to the infection. So, if research data is investigated then it is evident that more than 100 research articles have been published since 2020 on this topic.
