On September 22, 2025, Redcliffe Labs’ Founder and CEO, Aditya Kandoi, will represent India on a truly global stage at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 80th session in New York. Invited as a Global Health Thought Leader, Kandoi will speak at a UNGA side event co-hosted by Triple I for GH, GIIN, and Japan Society, focusing on the critical topic: “The Importance of IMM & Building the Impact Investing Ecosystem in Global Health.”

UNGA 80: A Milestone for Global Health

The 80th session of the UNGA, themed “Better together: 80 years and more for peace, development, and human rights,” marks a significant milestone in international cooperation. This year's discussions emphasize the urgency of delivering on the promise of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reinvigorating global cooperation, particularly in sectors like healthcare, climate action, and human rights. A notable highlight is the Fourth High-level Meeting on Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) and Mental Health, scheduled for September 25. Heads of State and Government will convene to set a new vision for the prevention and control of NCDs and the promotion of mental health and well-being towards 2030 and beyond. This ambitious agenda aims to address the global health equity challenges exacerbated by underinvestment in health services. (World Health Organization)

Aditya Kandoi: Championing Accessible Healthcare

Aditya Kandoi's invitation to UNGA 2025 is a testament to his leadership and Redcliffe Labs' commitment to transforming healthcare in India. Since taking over as CEO in December 2024, Kandoi has spearheaded initiatives to make quality diagnostics accessible across the country. Under his guidance, Redcliffe Labs expanded its national footprint to over 80 laboratories and established India's most extensive home sample collection network. In FY25, the company served over 2.5 million patients, with more than 70% of testing volumes originating from Tier II cities and beyond. (Startup Success Stories)

Kandoi's leadership is grounded in a vision of "Giving every Indian the Right to Quality Diagnostics," focusing on awareness, affordability, accuracy, and accessibility. This approach aligns with the broader goals of the UNGA 80 session, emphasizing the importance of inclusive and equitable healthcare systems.

Redcliffe Labs: Bridging the Healthcare Gap

Redcliffe Labs' participation in UNGA 2025 reflects its dedication to addressing healthcare disparities in India. The company's expansion into underserved regions demonstrates a proactive approach to healthcare delivery, ensuring that quality diagnostics reach even the remotest areas. By integrating technology and innovation, Redcliffe Labs is not only enhancing healthcare accessibility but also contributing to the global dialogue on sustainable and inclusive health systems.

Conclusion

Participation in the UNGA side event underscores Redcliffe Labs’ commitment to addressing healthcare disparities in India. Through technology-driven solutions and an extensive nationwide network, the company ensures that quality diagnostics are within reach, even in underserved regions. By doing so, Redcliffe Labs is contributing not only to India’s healthcare ecosystem but also to the global dialogue on sustainable, inclusive health systems.
