A woman is undeniably the 8th wonder of the world and the most beautiful creation of God. Besides bringing new life to the world, she has varied other roles in developing a sustainable society. Despite being the marvel of the marvels, women face tremendous barriers and inequality at home, in the workplace, and community.

We cannot deny that things have certainly improved but are still far from being better and equal, which deserves attention.

Women’s Equality Day is around the corner. It’s a day worth remembering because back in this day Constitution of the United States granted women the right to vote. Since then, August 26, is celebrated as Women’s Equality Day. The day is also to raise awareness for women’s equality and honor the struggles and achievements of women in various sectors so far.

Every year, Women’s Equality Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm, but the question is, are we really equal? Everyone talks about women's equality, but no one takes it seriously. Despite everything, women still struggle to get equal pay, safety, freedom, and access to quality healthcare. The day is excellent not just to celebrate what women have done so far but to implement actions well and take positive initiatives towards their betterment.

Women are the cornerstone of a prosperous and sustainable world. They deserve equal freedom, safety, and access to good healthcare, but the reality is far from this.

Besides freedom and safety, women’s health has been woefully ignored and under-researched. The aim to celebrate Women’s Equality Day is to honor women’s equality and achievements. First, we need to embrace women's health and empowerment for the good of society.

Women's health is the most underrated, yet the most important, as the health of families and communities is tied to her. Diseases don’t discriminate, but several health concerns affect women differently and require immediate attention like:

  • Breast Cancer: Breast cancer is among the most common cancers in women and rarely in men. It is the condition in which cancerous cells begin to grow in one or both breasts. It hardly shows any symptoms in the early stage and usually develops a lump that was not there before. Timely screening of it is essential to get treated in time. With this in mind, we bring a personalized Breast Cancer Basic Package to help women diagnose the condition earliest as possible.
  • Ovarian and Cervical Cancer: It causes problems with the Female Reproductive System and results in poor outcomes. Several types of cancers are curable, but only if diagnosed early. With Cancer screening – Female Package, we focused on helping women detect the problem early and get treated at the earliest.
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs): Vaginal infections or poor vaginal health and hygiene lead to several related problems. If diagnosed early, vaginal infections are curable to the most extent, but if left undiagnosed and untreated, they can lead to serious health complications like reproductive tract cancer or STDs. Therefore, we promote periodic STD Testing among women to help them diagnose the problem early and rule out the risk of infection.
  • Pregnancy Issue: Pregnancy is a blessing but scary at the same time. We ensure they get quality treatment and care. With Antenatal Care- Early Pregnancy Checkup, we examine their health on multiple grounds and help the doctor provide preventive care accordingly.
  • Menopause: It is again not as simple and smooth as it sounds. In most cases, it creates several problems and requires immediate attention to keep health in check.

Everyone has their way of celebrating Women’s Equality Day. At Redcliffe Labs, we bring special health packages like Women Smart Health Package, Sister's Special Care Package, and Mother's Special Care Package to promote equality for women’s health.

Health is for everyone, irrespective of their gender. When we say equal, we mean it. We have health packages for women and men both to help them get access to quality treatment.

We bring Smart Full Body Checkup for one and all to enable them to track their health status and take preventive measures in time.

To embrace equality, we first need to prioritize women's health. Therefore, considering periodic health checkups is more of a compulsion than just a formality.

Over the years, the role of women has changed tremendously. But still, we need to infuse equality in real terms. Women do deserve freedom, safety, and access to quality health. Empowering women and promoting their health can help society to grow for good. So, it’s high time to make the world a better place for women and celebrate Women’s Equality Day in the most actual means.

This Women’s Equality Day, don’t just wish or celebrate equality but spread it with your efforts and a little care. Book a test for your sister, mother, wife, friend, or daughter and be part of Redcliffe Labs’ initiative to provide access to quality healthcare to women. Happy Women’s Equality Day!
