What is the test for?

When to get the test?
Your doctor will prescribe this test if you consult them with symptoms like fever, cough, etc. which indicate an active infection. Also, if you have any autoimmune disorder or chronic inflammatory disease, your doctor might prescribe this test.

The normal range of C-reactive protein in the blood is less than 10 mg/L.
