sonaliKeymaster2 years, 2 months agoHealth may mean different to you than what other people say. Health is multi-faceted and ultimately can be quite complicated. It encompasses everything, from your physical component, mental component, to emotional component. But we don’t always think of health in this way. To be deemed as healthy, according to Medical News Today, you should have a sense of “physical, mental, and social wellbeing, and the resources to live a full life.” While we ultimately know that being diagnosed with a health condition, or being classified as overweight deems you to be “unhealthy,” there are other indicators of health that won’t necessarily elicit a diagnosis, but ones that you may only observe or know yourself.
Be mindful of some of the less than obvious signs that you may not be as healthy as you think you are. You can take the following as examples:
-You snore
-Your skin isn’t clear
-The white of your eyes aren’t white
-Your toenails and fingernails are an odd color or texture
-You are always tired ,fatigue,or non energised
sonaliKeymaster2 years, 2 months agoWhen it comes to healthy eating, myths and misconceptions are many in number. It doesn’t help that new — and often contradictory — diet advice emerges every day. But the basics of eating right really don’t change.
There are some basic rules for this:
- Load your plate with vegetables
- Eat a balanced diet
- Don’t starve yourself
- Ask questions when you eat out
- Have a plan when you hit the grocery store
- Cut down on processed foods
- Limit your sodium and sugar
- Don’t just count calories
- Switch to wholegrains
- Enjoy your food
sonaliKeymaster2 years, 2 months agoConstipation can occur due to a variety of reasons. You may become constipated if you don’t eat enough high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Also, eating a lot of high-fat meats, dairy products, and eggs, or rich desserts and sugary sweets may cause constipation. If you live alone you may lose interest in cooking and eating, hence not getting a proper diet. (be happy, you have time to invest in yourself:)). Nearly everyone becomes constipated at one time or another. Older people are more likely than younger people to become constipated, but most of the time it’s not serious.
Constipation is a symptom, not a disease
Foods that cause constipation or make it worse:
- Bananas.
- Chewing gum.
- Caffeine.
- Gluten.
- White rice.
- Persimmon.
- Red meat.
- White bread.
sonaliKeymaster2 years, 2 months agoTaking out a couple minutes when you call it a night, making yourself and your body feel comfortable for bedtime is vital while you unwind towards the end of a busy day. If you would wish to sit and gather a sense of calm prior to going off bed, you could always relax with a rejuvenating meditation practice. Yoga does not necessarily have to be an energetic, get-your-blood-pumping physical exercise. In fact, some of the most advantageous facets of a gentle yoga practice done at home are most beneficial and bring about changes in body alignment and hence relax your strained muscles.
Talking about 6 yoga asanas that help:
- UTTANASANA ( standing forward bend)
- HALASANA (plow pose)
- SHISHUASANA (child pose)
- VIPARITA KARANI (legs up the wall pose)
- SAVASANA ( corpse pose)
- SUPTA BADDHA KONASANA (reclining butterfly)
