There are many common bladder related problems that occur due to bladder failure. If you experiences a loss of bladder control, then it can be an indication of the condition. However, you can experience short-term loss of bladder from a few other conditions like UTI, vaginal infections, constipation, and certain medications. But if you have been experiencing bladder failure for longer than a week, you must consult a doctor.
Some symptoms of bladder failure are:
- If you have a sudden urge to pee or cannot hold on till you reach the washroom.
- You need to pee very often, about eight times a day.
- If you need to get up during the night, then you may have nocturia
- If you wet the bed at night, then it can be nocturnal enuresis.
- If a person experiences one or more than one of the listed symptoms, then they have mixed urinary issues.
- If you leak when you laugh, cough, sneeze, or else exercise.
