Thyroid problems are very slow-paced yet progressive. However, since the disorders don’t showcase any potential symptoms right off the bat, being mindful of some of the early signs include:
- Fatigue
- Constipation
- Dry skin
- Heightened sensitivity to heat or cold
- Feeling down or depressed
- Weight gain or weight loss
- Puffy face
- Hoarseness in the voice
- Muscle weakness
- Tremors
- Irritability
- Increased heart rate
- Arrhythmias
- Body shakes
You might not experience any of these symptoms initially or you might experience a mix of multiple of these symptoms as part of your thyroid disorder. Always keep an eye on something that feels off and discuss the complications with your doctor.
