The possibility of a normal delivery generally depends on the baby’s positioning in the womb, the well-being of the mother, and the allied factors.
Does doing yoga every day 100% guarantee that you’d have a normal delivery? The answer is no.
However, indulging in yoga every day for even 10 minutes prepares the body for the upcoming labor and delivery. Many prenatal yoga poses improve the pelvic floor muscles, preparing the body to sustain the impact of vaginal birth.
Studies have also found that pregnant women who do yoga on a daily basis throughout their pregnancy have better chances of normal delivery and also giving birth to a baby with normal body weight and optimal Apgar score.
