Many individuals report that they have “reversed” their diabetes since their initial diagnosis but it is generally a case of proper lifestyle and diet that manage the blood glucose levels optimally. The reversal is also common in patients who are diagnosed with prediabetes.
But, putting that aside, there is no cure for diabetes yet. But, with the kind of research and scientific breakthroughs that the scientists are making, we can be hopeful for the same in the future.
Proper lifestyle, dietary choices, and following a diabetes management routine allow the patient to get their diabetes into remission. This means that their blood sugar levels are controlled in the normal range. However, this doesn’t mean their diabetes is cured.
