Yes, beer does aid in passing urine but help in excreting out the stones which are small one. The stones which are above 5 mm cannot be excreted out of your body because the size of the excreted passage is nearly 3 mm.

Also, beer is not always beneficial in passing kidney stones because sometimes when you have difficulty in passing urine then in that scenario situation gets worse because intake of beer increases more urine which later on becomes more painful. Drinking beer for a longer time may cause obesity, dehydration and can damage your liver.
